Ausschreibung von Stipendien für die Jahre 2004 und 2005
Information about Scholarships from the Dr.-Heinrich-Jörg-Stiftung
Scholarships from the Dr.-Heinrich-Jörg-Stiftung can be given in the following three cases:
- to members of the academic staff of the Faculty of Science of the University of Graz to cover traveling and living expenses in connection with the attendance of scientific conferences and research visits of scientific institutions;
- to staff members and students of the Faculty of Science of the University of Graz to cover expenses for scientific research and publications;
- to foreign researchers for research visits of the University of Graz in order to pursue a joint research project with a staff member of the local Faculty of Science within an existing research cooperation.
There are no scholarships available for students or post graduate students from other universities for study visits at the University of Graz.
Invitations to apply for scholarships are announced once a year, usually at the end of the year for the following two years. The deadline for applications usually is January 31.
Applications must include:
- a detailed curriculum vitae,
- a description of the planned research project,
- a detailed account of the prospective costs, and
- a declaration that the costs to be covered by the scholarship will not be
reimbursed by any other institution.
Scholarships cannot be given as a remuneration for working time of applicants.
